help identifying movie

Hello to the group. I'm looking for help in identifying a movie not listed on
the Internet Movie Database or in Leonard Maltin's books.
Plot: A swing band leader gets out of the biz and takes a job teaching
chemistry at a stuffy girls' school. The Dean of women falls for him. The
band gets together for one last big concert, the Dean finds out about his past
and finds that she likes swing music. Happily Ever After, cue curtain music.
The only other thing I can recall about the movie was the name of the band:
Barrelhouse Bennie and the Swingovators(sp?)

It could be "Second Chorus" 1940 with Fred Astaire and Paulette
Goddard. The plot is similar.
