Seriously, Stagecoach deserves maybe a 7, being a classic in it's own
genre and quality filming.
However I was somewhat disturbed how dated it felt, especially the
characters...what's up with John Wayne proposing a woman whom with he
basically changed some glances and couple words before...
Or how about timely arrival of cavalry, that's a cliche if any...
Hard to see Stagecoach as one of the best westerns as it's often
claimed. It was good in it's time but after Leone...

but Speed-although a good flick- will soon be forgotten among the many big
budget thrillers today. Stagecoach has already been a classic for years,
even though it is dated. I doubt that Speed will live as long in the memory
of the audience. But I like Speed, by all means.

and/or IMDB for assurance I'm thinking of the right film, wait one....
Well, It looks like I mixed that film (War Wagon) up w/ 'Rooster
Cogburn' for some old cowboy movie w/ a wagon full of Nitroglycerin.
(huh). I'm still not convinced I've got it yet.
