leader. After the woman drags herself from the ocean she soon believes
that she has saved her suppossed drowned daughter. After she recovers
on the shore nd makes her wet way to the seaside homstead she finds out
that (a) she has died and is invisible to the living (b) she has saved
the dead , evil daughter of the cult leader who now inhabits her
daughter's body and (c) she must now take the place of the evil girl in
the nether world , strapped in a chair in preparation for a skull
drilling by her fanatical dead daddy. The Uninvited (2008) seemed like a
dull nurse kills patient wants to marry husband daughters try to thwart
her. Turns out one daughter is actually insane and is the one who killed
everyone...a plot problem with her initial therapy locale, but still a
surprise.

Yeah, I liked the end of The Univited, but I wished it was more
abrupt--they kind of dragged it along after the surprise.
Of course, The Sixth Sense is also a major surprise. Easy Rider is
also pretty shocking.

I haven't seen TU, but here's the Korean original: _A Tale of Two
Sisters_ (2003) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0365376/. Very
creepy. I believe Mr. Hitchcock would approve.

Yes, that's quite some ending.
Funny that imdb says the plot as "A mans awakens to find himself alone
in the world." ...since he wasn't the only one. But a great movie that one.
