Starring Stewart Granger and Valerie Hobson.
Excellent 19th century gothic (based on an actual court case). Sort of a mix of Jane Eyre, Rebecca and Lady Chatterley's Lover. Beautiful photography and lots of shots of horses galloping across picturesque English countryside. There's a family curse, an heir to the estate who may have been illegimate and rascally gypsies. Well acted and tightly directed by French director Marc Allégret and it's free on youtube.
