Movie Critic/Buff Required

Hi,

We have a perfect opportunity for Movie Buff in Bay Area, CA. Our
client is looking for people like you and you will be a full time
employee making upwards of 40K per annum. You will be working onsite
so we are looking for candidates in bay area or who are willing to
work in bay area.

ou will be responsible for making sure all aspects of the user
experience is ready for prime-time for every title in various
countries around the world.

This includes the following:
- Title of movie/TV show and art work are correct for that
country
- Age ratings are appropriate for that title and target country
- Synopses is in target language
- Titles are being merched in correct genre rows and categories
- All links are functional and other features are working as
expected on site
- Playback works and subtitles/dubbing is as expected for the
target language/country
- Episodic content is complete and in the correct order
- Reporting issues, logging well written succinct bugs, follow up
on resolution and do reports on overall quality

You have these skills:
- Minimum of 1-year experience in editorial review of media-related
content, preferably movie and TV content
- Ability to quickly triage problems, determine root cause and drive
resolution
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Extreme attention to detail, high level of conscientiousness and
pride in work as well as goals accomplished
- Familiar with web based applications
- Familiar with Netflix
- Enthusiasm to dig into technical specifications and to troubleshoot
problems
- Experience working independently without much supervision


You possess these qualities:
- Love for movies and TV
- You are effective working with multiple teams
- You have high standards in everything you do
- You can balance multiple tasks

Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Film Studies or related field
- Experience using Jira
- Foreign language skills: Spanish, Portuguese, French
