If you can call a sequence of events stitched around a British
bungalow on a snowy hill, a few farts here and there, a loosely knit
but never justified message around respecting your elders and
farmland in the same breath, and a collective bumbling of three loser
brothers who hate to hate each other, this is the movie for you.

With an eye on property, the three misfits -- an unsuccessful trader,
dentist and, well, a vela, come together in their ancestral property
for an overnight stay every year as their dadji has willed that this
will be the only way they can get hands over his 17 crore assets. The
entire movie revolves around one such night and the slapstick events
that accrue from there.

Om Puri, otherwise one of the finest character actors in the
industry, is reduced to yelling, screaming and shouting at his
brothers -- and of course bringing out all the gas at regular
intervals -- in a bid to make it funny. He does a job of it if you
were to consider the footage he grabs but Puri is capable of much
better stuff if the script allows him to flower.

Then there is the second brother who is a lovelorn dentist who is
timid by nature and who could never stand up and tell the society
that the night he was caught nude with a village girl it was only
because of a fire rescue mission rather than the fire under his
belly. The youngest, Shreyas, is completely a no-gooder, someone put
into the movie for added, peripheral, comic relief.

Only, it is too slapstick which hurtles into nothingness pretty soon.
