Changed your tune, have you?
No longer a Nazi sympathiser?
Read this article before you give Gandhi a clean chit.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. But I didn't realise the king had
that kind of powers back then.
How can someone who credits Stalin and the communists for destroying
the stinking scourge of Nazism be a Nazi sympathiser.
Have you got a screw loose?

you need to re-read the link you provide, dear.
your link talks about mahatma's mistakes; but it does not say he adivesd the
brits to surrender - or that if he did say it, was a mistake.
however, a lot of terrified british people did want to give in (as i
indicated above):
here is an excerpt:
On the night of 7-8 September 1940 German bombers made a night raid on
London, beginning a period of bombing of UK cities known as the Blitz that
lasted until the early summer of 1941. Until the outcome of the Battle of
Britain established British superiority in the air from October 1940, raids
on London also sometimes occurred during the day. From November 1940 other
industrial cities were targeted, such as Coventry, Birmingham, Cardiff, and
Liverpool, with occasional raids on London. About 40,000 people were killed,
and more than a million homes destroyed. Nazi leader Adolf Hitler hoped that
the repeated bombing would be so unbearable that the British people would
force Winston Churchill's government to make peace with Germany. The
government issued Morrison or Anderson shelters for protection and Londoners
spent nights crowded into the stations of the London Underground railway.
Government propaganda encouraged the spirit of struggling through and
overcoming common threats to ensure that unity was maintained. Symbolic
gestures such as King George VI and Queen Elizabeth remaining in London at
Buckingham Palace, even when it was bombed, and then touring the streets of
the capital boosted morale. Prime Minister Winston Churchill also stayed in
London, and regularly visited victims of the Blitz to help instil the
resolve to carry on. However, although most put on a brave appearance, the
people of London were terrified and many did feel like giving in.

He didn't.

I guess some people don't study history. That power was taken away from the
king or queen of England a long time ago.
Was that about the same time that a shitload of gutless turncoat Indians
wet their pants and went and fought for Germany and Japan even though
both countries considered themselves as the master-races and Indians as
no more than talking dogs? And didn't they turn out to be piss-weak
against the might of the good Indians that recognised the threat that
Germany and Japan presented and wiped the floor with your shithead mates?

I'm not sure if that was in a reply to me but if Brittan surrendered Hitler
would have killed all the Jews, gypsies and homosexuals and Brittan (and
probably the rest of the world by now) would be a fascist dictatorship where
if you criticise the government you would be sent to concentration camps. Is
that the kind of world you would prefer? Some things are worth fighting for.
WW2 was one of them. I would much rather live in a society of corrupt
politicians only looking out for their own agenda then that nightmarish one.
I'm assuming you're replying to harmony there.

Yeah for some reason windows mail doesn't show every post to the thread.
It's annoying. And with agent I have to wait until it downloads every thread
since 2003.
The missing posts have nothing to do with your news reader (although
it's a crappy news reader!!) You're using giganews, presumably because
you're either an iinet or westnet customer. iinet had a great news
service but since they dumped it and adopted westnet's giganet
connection it's gone to shit (I'm with iinet and got the same as you
until I gave up on it). Not only will it drop a lot of posts, it will
even drop a lot of posts you send.
Try signing up with these guys, http://www.eternal-september.org/ , I
moved over to there on the advice of a bloke over in another newsgroup
and have not had a problem since, and it's free.

Oh thanks I think you recommended it before. I will try to sign up for it so
who knows, maybe my next post will be from it (as long as you can use them
on windows mail that is)

Well I signed up, let's hope this one will download all the posts.
It does, it can be a little slower at times, but in general is a much
more reliable service. By the way you're still going through giganews in
this post, I take it you haven't cut over yet?
Why don't you two girls get a room.
Ahhh, and there's that pedophile-protecting stooge rearing his ugly head
again. What's the matter? The priests boot you out of their private
little club again?
of course, it is no cure for your ignorance.
Ignorant of your parsitic ways? Not at all, not only have I picked them
from a mile away, but so have plenty of Indians commented on them as
well. And I mean Indians, you know, people that live in India, not
parisitic life-forms like you that refuse to live in India because you
love living in the West yet fraudulantly claim to be Indian, when you'd
know less about India these days than most tourists. You're pathetic really.
ok now having exhibited youe ignorance some more, you have proved to be
stupid, uncouth too.
By defining what you are? Not at all you stateless parasite.
exhibit "n" of your stupidity.

I still can't read Harmony's posts under the new server you recommended. But
it's no loss.
You're still posting from Giganews so presumably you're still reading
from Giganews? And no, you're not missing much with the parasites posts
being dropped.
you no losses keep mounting. hunter's ignorant rants are wearing out on ya.
