Indraprasth aka New Delhi - The Defence Ministry on Monday signed a
MoU with Doordarshan to produce programmes of various genres on
different facets of ex-servicemen's lives. The programmes will also
include the former jawans' role in nation-building and the
Government's efforts for their welfare and resettlement over the
years. The MoU was signed by Neelam Nath, Secretary, Department of
Ex-Servicemen Welfare (ESW), Defence Ministry and Aruna Sharma,
Director General, Doordarshan.
