Mumbai - Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt missed his daughter Trishala's
graduation ceremony as his application for visa renewal was rejected
by the US consulate.

Dutt's ten-year visa has expired and this is the second time that his
visa renewal application has been rejected, sources close to the
actor said.

Twenty-two-year old Trishala is a student of Criminal Justice in a
New York City college.

Sanjay's manager Dharam Oberoi said the actor was very keen to attend
his daughter's graduation ceremony.

"He has been applying for a US visa for over two years and even flew
down for interviews when summoned by the Consulate leaving his
shootings mid-way. Yet he was not issued a visa," he said.

The actor, who is currently out on bail was convicted under Arms Act
for illegal possession of weapons.
