Aishwarya Rai might be beautiful and attractive. She might have the most beautiful eyes in the world. But she's arrogant, vain, fame and power-hungry from inside. During the Miss India 1994 contest, she thought that she was invincible that she didn't stop to think before giving such a stupid answer at the final round. The question was "If you had the power to change one historic event, what would it be and why?" Ash answered "If I had the power to change one historic event, I'd change my date of birth so that I would've been born as a leader of sorts and I could prevent all the wars from happening." WHAT? Was her DOB (November 1, 1973) a historic event? NO, it was not!!! On the other hand, Sushmita Sen who was considered a dark horse throughout the whole contest gave an earnest and straightforward answer that she'd thwart the assassination of Indira Gandhi. Aishwarya's plain stupid answer forced the judges to re-evaluate the contestants resulting in a tie between Ash and Sush. Sush eventually won the Miss India crown, dashing Ash's dream to go to the Miss Universe pageant to smithereens. Sush also won the Miss Universe crown which further added fuel to the fire on Ash's mind and the poor thing regretted about giving such a lame answer to an important question.
Sush is so humble, genuine, generous and compassionate that she attributes her success to her luck. She thinks it was sheer luck which helped her climb the ladder of success. She's not arrogant or vain like Ash. I am happy that Sush won the Miss Universe crown. I also feel that if Sush went to the Miss World pageant, she'd have still won that crown. But I don't think if Ash went to the Miss Universe pageant, she could've won that crown. She'd have said something too stupid during the final 3 round of the MU pageant just like she did in the Miss India final round. Her problem is that she thinks she's too pretty and smart that no one can beat her!
Ash is so fame hungry that she needs a son of a superstar (Abhishek Bachchan-a big LOSER in Bollywood) to spend the rest of her life with. She knows she won't be able to remain in the spotlight for too long, so it's safer for her to get married into a famous star khandaan of Bollywood. Plus, she craves for money and power too. She's so arrogant that she didn't even acknowledge her secret marriage with Salman Khan who she thought won't be able to give her the fame, money and power that she's craving for. While Sush thinks she doesn't need a man of means to spend the rest of her life with. She's a strong woman who adopted two daughters and is happy remaining single for the rest of her life for her daughters. She said she'd marry a man who will understand that her children are equally important to her as her husband. She loves her family and prioritizes her family above everything else. On the other hand, all Ash cares about is fame, money and power.
