Jammu - Jammu & Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Monday
rejected calls for J&K's re-organization and instead promised
autonomy for all the regions in the state.
The Centre's nod for carving out Telangana from Andhra Pradesh hsd
renewed statehood demands from the state's Jammu region. "J&K is a
very small state and can't be divided further," said the CM on the
sidelines of an international conference in Jammu. "We understand
that state's all three regions can be giuven more autonomy within the
united J&K."
He said the government has tried to equally fulfill the aspirations
and rigthts of people of all the regions. TNN
