i think it's absolutely essential that all americans learn to speak but, is knowledge of english the same as loyalty to US? no. and alot of hispanics who only know english still call for open in ireland, most people spoke english but they all wanted independence the north and south both spoke english but fought a long bloody war so, language is not necessarily the glue that holds us together. it language is crucial but more crucial is what we think and feel thru so, language is important but not THE solution to the problem of You must Sign in before you can post messages.
