i think it's absolutely essential that all americans learn to speak
english. i'm not for english ONLY. i think it's great to know and use
as many languages as possible. how great it would be able to speak
english, german, french, spanish, urdu, japanese, turkish, swahili,
etc, etc.
but, all people in US must know english. so, while i'm not for english
ONLY, i'm for english ALL. i don't care how many other languages
americans know and use, but they must know english. it must be the
communicative tool for all of us.
but, is knowledge of english the same as loyalty to US? no.
take noam chomsky who knows and uses english better than most
americans. indeed, think of all the leftwing jews in the US. they are
smarter than us, better read than us, and know more words than us.
but, they are totally anti-american.
think of negroes. they only know english but the likes of farrakhan,
charles rangel, and rappers only sing of hatred against honkey.
and alot of hispanics who only know english still call for open
immigration and say we should welcome all the illegals who wanna come
to the US. they speak english but their hearts are with their own
kind.
in ireland, most people spoke english but they all wanted independence
from UK.
american colonialists spoke english but they wanted to be independent
from the mother country.
taiwanese speak chinese but wanna be independent of china.
the north and south both spoke english but fought a long bloody war
during the civil war.
so, language is not necessarily the glue that holds us together. it
makes us understand one another's thoughts but it doesn't mean we have
the same thoughts. pat buchanan and eleanor clift both speak english
but one is a patriotic american while the other is a lowlife leftwing
jew skank.
language is crucial but more crucial is what we think and feel thru
language. english language expressed itself thru everything from the
declarations of independence to ice-t's song 'cop killer'.
german language expressed itself thru the great literature of thomas
mann and the hate lunacy of hitler. language is just a tool.
english in the US can be used against american interests, unity, and
power. just listen to chomsky, michael moore, and moveon.org.
so, language is important but not THE solution to the problem of
national unity.
i agree with this. cuban americans who barely spoke english came to US
after castro came to power. immediately there were the most loyal
americans in the world though they could only spoke spanish. in
contrast, leftwing jews who spoke perfect english and had in PhDs were
totally anti-american and supporting communist powers around the world.
Ah, malarkey.
Using terms like 'lowlife leftwing jew skank' shows you're full of it.
You seem to know where the shift key is located. Now learn to use it.

You agree with yourself?
Replying to yourself proves you're an idiot.

(Sycophant!...Can't you *argue* with yourself once in a while, instead
of always having to be such a crawling kissup?)
Derek Janssen (I mean, at least Sybil managed a lively argument once in
a while!)

I agree with you, only if they want to be like what they are.

Right now, I think, Americans should start to learn Arabic. Hell,
you've got what, half a million young Americans in Iraq, right?
Also, in the not-so-distant future the U.S. may have allow Iranian
Peacekeepers in their country. Think about it...

How can you claim to be a patriot if you are anti-semitic? I thought
real patriots supported the Israeli Lobby?
