Well, lets first gather up the ones that fit the initial screening;
- Planet of the Apes
- Star Wars
- Star Trek, for that matter
- Die Hard
What other multi-entry franchises can we come up with?
berk
And there you have it... The politically correct troll Dork just
proved he can copy and paste movie titles...

The only reason you replied, Dork, is because you are a
politically correct troll. To spell it out for you, Dork, as if
you did not already know... The movies with sequels you cited are
nothing more than movies with sequels.

Well, if you can comprehend my original point that was what I was
exactly setting out to do. From a certain list of multi-sequel film
series, can you really find any to match your point?
Nothing Liberal, Left-Wing, Right-Wing, PC, none of that.
What multi-sequel films even _have_ a female protagonist?, lets go
back there...
berk
Well, let's get the ball rolling with the Alien series.
Then there's Star Wars (Leia, and her mother).
More contributions?
Thx for actually playing it straight.
In the Alien franchise Ripley goes from 'what the frack is going on?'
to "Get away from, you BITCH!" to 'we're all going to die anyway, so
whats the point' to 'it's Alive!'.
Other than the dip in the third one (well, she _was_ a shot-caller)
she seems to steadily advanced in 'power' through the series.
I'm wondering what other film series can match it for 'Female Grows in
Power'.
What would be great would be a follow up to 'Leon' (the Professional)
with Natalie Portman as a now grown Mathilda. (One could kinda say Uma
Thurman in 'Kill Bill' is a grown Mathilda, but I digress...)

Full agreement. What would be even better would be if she teamed up with
the now grown little girl from _Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai_.

Ripley starts out as an ordinary crewmember, and then fights
alongside female combat Marines (living in a feminist fantasy
land) in the next movie.
> Then there's Star Wars (Leia, and her mother).
By the third movie in the original series, Princess Leia ends up
being not only a princess, but a princess with Jedi Knight powers.
There are many movie series that clearly show how Hollywood has
begun catering to the man-butt-kicking he-woman fantasies of the
feminist cult.
In the first movie of the Terminator series, Sarah Connor is a
mere woman being protected from the Terminator. In the second
movie, Sarah Connor has magically become a weapons expert and a
deadly martial artist (she got all that power from sleeping with
Green Berets, good thing she didn't sleep with lesbian Green
Berets). As Sarah leaves the hospital, she kills a big guy for
licking her face. And then in the third series (Rise of the
Machines), Hollywood goes feminist butt kissing berserk. John
Connor (the future leader of humanity) immediately gets beaten up
and caged by a female veterinarian Kate (who takes the lead in
most parts of the movie, including being the Terminator
commander). Kate is even tougher and faster than the big biker bar
owner in Terminator II, she fires when the Terminator tries to
grab her gun. Then we have Arnold getting his butt kicked
everywhere by a female Terminator who is of course much smarter,
faster, and stronger than Arnold is... But seriously.
In the first movie of the Mad Max series, Mad Max's wife is a
stay-at-home mother only interested in her husband's well-being
and the safety of her child (they both end up getting run over).
In the second movie, we are introduced to a Warrior Woman who
subdues Mad Max with her bare hands. In the third movie (Beyond
Thunderdome), there is Tina Turner as Aunty Entity, the Warrior
Queen and builder of a whole city. She too is able to subdue Mad
Max after all of her bodyguards get their butts kicked.

I cannot control whether you troll me or not, Bonk. I posted
something I consider important to make a note of. It does not
require reply. If I were seeking replies, I would ask just like
anyone else who knows how to ask a question here on USENET.
As you know, Bonk, I have posted on the same/similar subject
before. Recently I realized that movies with sequels are a better
way to find evidence of the trend. I vaguely recall more examples,
and will name them later. If you disagree that the trend is
happening, try to find counter evidence.
> He seems to have staked out bait and is Trolling with this

I can see why you might think so if you misinterpret the subject
line to mean "Women become much more powerful in ALL movie
sequels". But, Bonk, given your previous politically correct
denials to my posts, and the fact that you did not even question
the idea whether I meant 100%, I think you are playing dumb and/or
playing semantics.

You are not exactly playing it straight here, Bork, but at least
you are not denying the obvious about the Alien series.

After watching most of Aliens (1986), it is a huge leap up in
he-woman man-butt-kicking feminist cult fantasy from the original
Alien (1979). Seeing Ripley always remaining cool and
pushing/slapping hysterical Marines IMO might be comical if it did
not reflect on our society.

The progression is much more revealing than that.

That opinion is no surprise. Natalie Portman is too
pretty/attractive/appealing to be involved with that.
