Last time I checked, there were three documentaries playing in the Chicago area that made the Bushies look bad: one on the "war" in Iraq, one about the Fox News Channel, and F9/11. To hear the Republicans tell it, they're just sweet, innocent, god fearin' folks, not rotten bastards as the documentaries and protests all across the globe proclaim. Why won't they admit the truth? People hate them because they are assholes--money grubbing assholes. Why not just admit this save people a lot of time? Not only are they assholes, but as Michael Moore has correctly pointed out in his last two movies, they create an atmosphere of fear with which they can campaign from. "The terrorists are going to kill us!" Where are these terrorist attacks? I remember one three years ago. By pretending there is a constant terrorist threat they get to tell us how successful they are with the "war on terror".

They're doing their job. They busted an AQ cell up in Portland. Poor Mike Hawash, innocent victim of "profiling" evil Ashcroft bastards. Turned out to be guilty, imagine that! What were they called, the Portland 7? You stupid, stupid people. The Left loves to whip people into frenzies of hatred, which usually result in mass slaughter of innocent people. Pardon us normal people if we automatically take such "documentaries" as propoganda at first glance. It will probably save our lives in the long run.

Lefties here, socialists there, of course they're going to find fault with a capitalist system, aren't they?

Oh yeah, the 'vast right wing conspiracy' that forced Bill Clinton to get a snoogling from Monika.

Yeah how about that? No Al Qeada attacks on US soil in three years, good for us.

1. Michael Moore makes his points by leaving footage that contradicts him on the cutting toom floor.
2. How do you make your living, just out of curiosity. Seems to me that a lot of liberals that talk about how badly Conservatives screw people out of their money do quite well themselves.

YEah, and then they turn around and call Conservatives 'Jack-booted thugs', 'Brownshirts' and 'Nazis'.
As Dave Matthews said, "Look in the Mirror, My Friend..."
HAHAHA! Racial Profiling, indeed! How many would be terrorists have been brought down by Racial Profiling?
They don't realize you *can't* have a truly free society when you're under attack. Of course, if it were a Democrat/Liberal in power and 'racial profiling' were taking place, it would be 'an evil neccessity to ensure the security of the country'.
Both sides have good and bad points. Liberals don't see the bad of their party, or the good of the conservatives, and vice versa.

I haven't had a paycheck in over a year. I'm one of those that makes the Bush comparison to Herbert Hoover particularly apt.

You must be doing *something* ! When I was in a similar situation I worked for myself under the table for a few months. As I said in another post, I made *my* money on the backs of the rich who could afford to pay for my services. Then I got a most excellent job with GE. Unfortunately, thanks to CLINTON (two can play that game...) we were *outsourced* (yes, back in 1999, *before* Bush's policies had any effect on outsourcing) and I was pounding the pavement again.

And *I* didn't change the topic, only responding to the change. But, as one troll to another, we just have to keep picking on each other.

That may have been a trend that started under Clinton, but clearly Bush hasn't done a fucking thing about American jobs in any capacity. I really think people back him up because they feel sorry for how stupid he is.

That's interesting, because I have yet to see you say a fucking thing about Bush's military record, or anything else of consequence for that matter. Any comments on the relationship between him and "Bandar Bush", for example?
At least face facts, Republicans are basically pussies that don't want to discuss the facts or issues.

Well, if you can think of any president who was able to buck economic evolution, I'd like to hear about him. What people don't seem to realize is that the stock market crash precipitated by the Clinton administration's idiotic approach to the rampant stock speculation and the fake "high tech" boom of the 1990s was nearly as bad for the United States as was the real estate speculation boom and crash in Japan and the rest of the Orient back in the 1980s, which they NEVER fully recovered from. When was the last time Japan's unemployment rate was back down to 2%, like it was all through the 1970s and 1980s?
I really doubt you could do much of anything about outsourcing short of instituting a completely closed economy, which might mean you could keep certain jobs but would mean a vastly lower standard of living for people as a whole. But look at it this way, all those nasty polluting industries that the Liberals always cried about are now more or less gone! Now it's the Chinese who have them. -Rich

LMAO. Do a Google search on Shannon Jacobs and read some of his posts. Then come back and talk to me about Democrats not wanting to discuss issues.

Japan is directly comparable to the U.S. in terms of economic conditions. There are too many variables. Moreover, what you say doesn't have a grain of truth in it. If the stock market situation was so vile under Clinton's watch why didn't unemployment take a sharp rise? No, this was is all Bush: after 9/11, instead of "talking tough" and lying about getting guys "dead or alive" the stupid chimp bastard should've realized the economic problems suffered by the airline industry caused a ripple effect through the rest of the economy. Not enough was done to counteract this. The airlines dodged the bullets of bankruptcy, but that isn't the same as them doing business as usual. As for outsourcing, that was a trend that should've been counteracted too. The truth really hit home when I heard the Republican party used call centers in India to handle donations. These are really sick people.
> I really doubt you could do much of anything about outsourcing short > of instituting a completely closed economy, which might mean you could > keep certain jobs but would mean a vastly lower standard of living > for people as a whole.
Bullshit. If tariffs hadn't been instituted, American car companies would be out of business. There is no reason extra taxes couldn't be levied on jobs that are outsourced. If it cost companies more to move a job out of the country there is no reason for them to do it. This is all about putting the bean counters on a short leash where they belong.
But look at it this way, all those nasty
