New Chinese Art Exhibit- Los Angeles

Just a note for those interested in the Middle Kingdom.. "LACMA" the Los
Angeles County Art Museum (on Wilshire) has a spectacular new multi-million
dollar Chinese Wing-- just opened last month. It's worth the trip to LA if
you like the pure classic Chinese forms of scroll paintings, pottery and
early bronzes. Docent tours are also available. It's interesting to think
that in today's political climate-- China is in the forefront, yet has an
unbroken 5000 year cultural and art history. The items in this exhibit
would never be allowed out of the country today-- they date back to the days
of the "art dealers" who somehow obtained these priceless items-- Enjoy, if
