Born to Percy M. & Dorris Veal McKee. Morris graduated Crozier Tech & attended
Arlington State College now U.T.A.
He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served at the Marine Barracks in Washington,
D.C. with the U.S. Marine Corp Drum & Bugle Corps known as the Commandants Own. He
had the honor as a member of the Corps to march in the John F. Kennedy inauguration.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Maureen Tyrer McKee, mother Dorris; brother
James N. McKee & wife Movalynn, sisters Cynthia Benedict of Georgetown and Donna
Gustafson of Garland; son Michael Wayne McKee & his wife Dania of Little Elm;
daughter Kathleen Kelly & her husband Tim. Morris called Pooh is also survived by
seven grandchildren, Jason, Megan, Kelvin & Michelle McKee; Blair, Darby & Reily
Kelly; as well as numerous cousins, nephews, nieces & friends. Morris was predeceased
by his father Percy McKee and twin grandchildren Jonathan & Melissa McKee.
Visitation will be Tue. Sept. 19, 2006 from 7:00-9:00PM at North Dallas Funeral Home;
Services to be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Wed. Sept. 20, 2006 at
10:00AM with Interment at DFW National Cemetery at 1:30PM. Lane B.
