Born to Eternal Life on November 5, 2009, age 93.

Beloved husband of the late Lucille L. and special friend of the late
Eileen Baer. Loving father of James W. (Parsla) and Kathleen (John)
Pritchett. Proud grandpa of James K. and Erik A. Burns, Daniel S. and
Kate F. Meinecke; great-grandpa of Evan and Alyssa Burlingame and
Daniel James Meinecke. James was the son of the late Howard E. and
Frances Burns and brother of the late Howard J. Burns. He is survived
by other relatives and dear friends.

James served in the Navy as a Sonarman First Class, USNR V-6 on a mine
sweeper during WWII.

He was a member of the Henry L. Palmer Masonic Lodge and the Tripoli
Shrine Drum and Bugle Corps - Bugler.

Visitation Wed., Nov. 11, from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at
11:00 AM at THREE HOLY WOMEN PARISH-ST. HEDWIG CHURCH, 1702 N.
Humboldt Ave. Private inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
