It seems by the e-mail that DCI may be having a little problem selling
tickets this year to the finals in Indy.

Actually I think it's more of a case of high ticket prices and the
economy being in the tank. When you factor in travel cost, hotels,
food and incidentals, it adds up to a bit more than a lot of folks
want to spend for a drumcorps show. Allentown gives you much more of a
bang for your bucks. You get to see all of the top corps, over two
nights, for a lot less money. I haven'e been to DCI finals since 2000
when it was right in my backyard.

Most of my former DC member friends now band directors are not going
because of the dome(s).
