Similarities between Cadet Fans and Yankee Fans:

Obnoxious.

Wear the jacket and cap to bed, church and funeral parlor, even if it's
98 degrees out.

Absolutely, positively sure they are better. Even after they lose.

Are completely unaware that anything exists in their activity except for
their "team", and of course, their fans.

Holier than thou.

At least Yankee fans know that there is a world outside of baseball.

There used to be a little league baseball coach in town. He coached
forever and passed away only a few years ago at a good old age, still
playing tennis and skiing. When the ol' man would hear something that
made his heart swell, he'd stand at attention and put his baseball cap
over his heart, mostly for really important things like a kid making it
safely to first base after there being 3 or 4 errors in the infield in
order for him to get there. A little league baseball field was named
for him in town long before he finished coaching. I don't remember if
Mr. Hovington was a Yankee fan or not, but this was the kind of year
that I could imagine him standing at attention on the side of first base
with his cap over his heart. Thank God it's over.

UCONN vs AIC? Kinda like Pioneer taking on Crown. Not exactly an even
matchup.

Got the report that they came in, told the sec. to open the box and
heard sveral people shout out with glee. The lower school has them
and passing from class to class. I've been home for over 2 weeks so I
have not seen them.

Thanks for sending them.

Medical leave...............2 blackouts, thankfully the one behind the
wheel didn't hurt my car, me, or anyone else but no one can figure out
how I jumped a ditch, landed between 2 oak trees, a fire hydrant and a
telephone pole and had 0 damage ( and no, Bombay Sapphire was not
involved)

I don't remember any of it but it seems to be sugar related

Gees, I'm glad you didn't kill yourself (again). The same thing
happened to a lady at work and she had a chemical, I think it was
magnesium foul up. Hope you are feeling better and get this
straightened out.

Sounds like an episode of LOST. Was it a blue VW van?

Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia caused the 2nd one.

By the way, that sugar free candy ? yea, you can cure a sweet tooth
with it but you will be in the bathroom for 2 hours.
