Reminds me of something that happened on the first tour in 1978. In
the middle of the most topsy-turvy season DCI ever had, the corps on
tour all took a free day in Montreal the day after the show.

Somehow several dozen kids from five different corps (BD, Scouts, PR,
Bue Stars and Crossmen) ended up in a discoteque, which if memory
serves, was called "Le Disco" or "Le Bar", and somone played "Hey
Jude"on the jukebox. And we all sing it together, arm-in-arm, one big
happy drum corps family.

Some of the people I met that day are still friends, and I notice on
the Blue Devils FB alumni page that there are still people talking
about that day.

Good times.
