It isn't reading that is the problem, every time I go to Borders
and look at the manga section we have kids sitting on the floor
reading
like crazy. I doubt they buy much of it. At the Kinokuniya
Manga Shop
in Nihon Machi most of the books are sealed and no one is sitting on
the floor reading them. But Borders is only handling newer and more
popular stuff now with more graphic novels from the DC/Marvel
universe
pressing in on the Manga.

At the Kinokuniya Manga Shop I spend too much money. At Borders
I buy when I have a coupon and can find something like a
"Drifting Life"
that makes me proud of my manga interest or a Linux book to help
me with the computer(still spending too much as everything worthwhile
costs more).

Since the discussion includes Manga I have posted this to
the relevant newsgroup.
