I'm seeing mostly spam. Are there still people here or has everybody
migrated to web-based forum by now?

The reason I ask is I'm working on a server-side IF engine for playing
IF games directly in a browser. I'm doing preliminary pre-beta testing
on my implementation of the mini-game "Cloak of Darkness", working
from the ALAN and HUGO source code. The IF code is authored in a web-
based interface and the compiled output is php code that runs on a
server. I was hoping to get some feedback once I go live with it.

People are still here, but the discussion has essentially all moved to
intfiction.org.

You're not the only one. :) TADS 3.1 allows that sort of setup now,
and I believe Dave Cornelson is working on something similar which is
Inform-based.

We've already had a lot of movement towards client-side solutions (IF
*entirely* in a browser, no server component).
