As promised, here's the first in a series of monthly status updates.

And it comes with good news! A new version of Inform 7 will be
released on or around April 28th, Inform's birthday. (If we hit a snag
and the release isn't ready by the 28th, at the very least, you'll get
a full change log on that day.)

For now, a quick overview of the upcoming changes:

* Tidier user interface

* Easily publish Inform works to the web, including a release mode
that creates a playable web site using Parchment

* Many language restrictions removed, and more expressiveness in
talking about kinds, phrases, relations, etc.

* Many Standard Rules actions changed to provide default behavior
closer to what modern authors tend to want (automatically opening
doors, handling TAKE ALL more naturally, and so on)

* More than 250 bug reports resolved

I'm hoping this doesn't break accessibility. I suppose it's just a
matter of wait and see, but it'de be a shame. I shouldn't ask, but is
it the IDE that's changing, or the HTML used for the index and such?

Good idea and really quite interested in how this works.

Interesting.

Fair enough, can at least see why it took longer than usual. It's not
easy altering the parser at that level i'm suspecting.
