I7: Problems on OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard, am I alone?

I just installed I7 on my Mac (OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard), and went
straight for Start a new project... However, that's as far as I got,
as I7 complains:
Unable to create project
Inform was unable to save the project file
The project file is created, but it's zero KB. I was a bit surprised
not to find a single mention of this problem on the groups, so either
my search skills are really bad today, I'm the only one using Snow
Leopard, or I'm the only one with this problem.
Any suggestions? Did I do something wrong or is there a workaround?

I'm using Snow Leopard, on a new laptop, and installed a new version of
Inform 7 on it just a couple of days ago. And then I made lots of new
projects and pasted in lots of old code. Without any problems.

Hi Viv,
Very weird. Mine is also a new laptop, so I really don't know where to
begin looking.
But at least this narrows the problem down: it is definitely on my
side. Thanks.
Any ideas still appreciated.

when I try to start an empty Inform 7 project that nothing works.

I've been using SL for months without any problems. Seems to work fine
for me. Please let us know how you fix the issue for interest's sake.

I haven't solved it yet, but I managed to start a new project on a
different computer and copied that over. I can open it fine, and I've
tried running some code and it seems to work without problems. Instead
of starting a new project, it looks like I'll have to make copies of
that template file manually from now on. A bit concerned that I'll run
into some other problems down the line, but if this works... It'll do
for now.

the only problem I've had with Snow Leopard and I7 is compiling
the source code to Rover's Day Out.
I can get an output.ulx file but the compilation gives me the
error "no such constant as "PrintAnyToArray"
This happens under 5Z71 and 5U92.

Very interesting. I've never had that happen at all. Perhaps it may be
better to wait until a newer release? We can't be far off one now, it's
been some time since the last one.

build of inform installed. I had a similar problem and was *sure* I
had the latest version, but I have two seats of the software on two
different computers, and the one having the issue had a slightly older
version of inform.

Yeah, well, I've tried both the latest and an older version from the
I7 website, and they both give me the same error. So I don't think
that's it. :)
I've got 5Z71 atm.
