Hello all,

As mentioned in the ealier June Update, I had some news to share, but
was restricted from publicizing it until now.

I'm not sure if everyone is clear on all of the content being
developed for Textfyre, but here is the latest rundown:

I have designed a world and game that is being written by Michael
Gentry of Anchorhead fame. We're getting close to finalizing the
design and sending it off to the programmer. One of the things that's
apparent is that a game with a sizable number of NPC's and required
dialogue slow things down considerably.

Mike and I have also discussed the framework for the second game and I
plan on beginning its design soon.

The goal for Textfyre has been to have several designers and writers
working in tandem and be able to release a game from a different
series every month. It was critical to lock down the next world and we
have done exactly that.

Textfyre is proud to announce that Ian Finley, of Babel and Kaged
fame, is designing a second world and is under contract for the first
three game designs.

Textfyre is also proud to announce that Jon Ingold, of All Roads and
Muldoon fame, has signed on to write the first game in this new world.

Ian and Jon are two of the best IF game authors and Textfyre is very
excited to publish works created by two such talented people.

Hey, you got Ian Finley working on IF again :)
Can't wait to see what's going to happen next.

Kudos, Dave!

I would add this to my RSS reader if there were a blog as well as read
news and announcements here.

I announce things here for various reasons and I haven't done this via
the website or press releases for other reasons.

It's best to keep the website in limbo at the moment, but it might not
be a bad idea to report progress on a blog somewhere else.
