HELP PLEASE - Renaissance Art History

HELP PLEASE!

I am a new newsgroup member.

I am learning to use the internet and have an assignment that requires
me to find information on Italian Renaissance Art History. I have only
a couple of days to find images of art, any scholarly forums, and any
other non-image materials for the discussion of Renaissance art.

If there is anyone out there who can provide me with a list of interesting
artists during this period and sites where I can do a little research
to come up with an interesting project, I would appreciate hearing from
you.

If you are using your school's computer or an account that has access
to one of the many encyclopedias, try them. Then find someone who
can show you how to access the World Wide Web and how to do a
search there for various topics by using keywords and category
searches. There is a wealth of information out there, but it is NOT
in newsgroups usually.
