They also don't specify that they own the copyrights to the paintings
they're reproducing. That's the beauty of the new reproduction technology
plus internet - anybody can steal any image and sell knockoffs without ever
being traced for accountability. I personally think it's theft to reproduce
someone else's work without permission even if the work has no current
copyright and is therefore in the public domain. What makes my stomach
particularly queasy is that so many people are satisfied to be
bottom-feeding second- and third-handers.
I thought she said they were by Fiona Kahlo..?
