Pretty hard, but perhaps smoother in consistency than the Derwent. In
general, I gave up on pastel pencils a while back, and the harder soft
pastels as well. ZThey don't fit my style.

They are. I just wish they produced them in different shades of each
hue. Holbein seems to be the only manufacturer that does this. Mixing
white in on the paper to modify value does not really work all that
well.
