If you wish to participate, please email us back a minimum of 3 of your

chosen jpg or gif images of your artwork, maximum width (500 pixels),
along
with your name and information about you, the artist in a form of a
short
Artist statement (please include your country/ location within your
statement). The above service is free, however in order to enjoy the
full
benefits, you can also add an optional link to your website or email at
only
£5.00 per annum; this will enable visitors to your gallery to reach
you
directly. Extra artwork images in your gallery will cost only £1 per
image
per annum. You can also feature a full CV or Artist biography at only
£10
per annum which can include a free photograph of you, the artist. You
can
also have the option of selling your artwork by customising your own
Paypal
account 'add to cart' buttons to your online gallery @ only £15 per
year

Malstores.com also gives all our artists the opportunity to publish

art news @ Malstores.com for free. This will enable you to share with

There's nothing wrong with trying to sell art or anything else over
the Internet. But I think you defeat your purpose by using the word
"Free" up front and later list the charges which apply to anything but
the most basic service you offer. Bait and switch advertising just
leaves your readers wondering what else about your message should not
be taken seriously. Or indeed if ANYTHINGyou say can be believed.

I think there is something wrong with spamming newsgroups
with advertising.

Bait and switch refers to a sales practice in which a bargain is
advertised but then intentionally not made available. It is
illegal. Since the free service is available at the mentioned
host, this is more like a loss leader or a come on. Either you
knew that or you didn't. If you knew that, then your intentions
can cannot be trusted. If you did not know that, then you are too
ignorant to offer a useful comment. Either way, your post can be
disregarded by everyone but the vicious or the stupid.
