I just bought a sheet of Strathmore Aquarius II watercolor paper to try out
and was quite disappointed. Supposedly, this paper does not require
stretching as it will not buckle even when quite wet. Well, it buckled
quite a bit from start to finish. For a while it appeared that it might dry
flat eventually, but no such luck. Does anyone have experience with this
paper and can help me out here? Does it still require some sort of mounting
or premoistening, etc? I tried to research this on the Web, but all I could
find was everyone marveling at how this really, really does lie flat, and
requires no stretching, etc. Thanks in advance.
