TRIVIA? TO HELP ME FIND A PAINTING?

Hi there,

i'm lookig for the name of this famous painting, along with the artist.
it is quite common on postcards and reproductions these days. It
depicts a frontal view of 2 young (nude i believe) lovers with a a
veil or canapy that is wafting behind them. It looks like a greek
mythology theme, maybe cupid and venus? i'm pretty sure it was british
late 1800's pre-Raphaelite period. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EMAIL ME THE
TITLE? I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT>

You are almost certainly referring to Pierre August Cot 's painting
called 'The Storm" from the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
A wonderful but highly underrated and maligned artwork. I could not
find it expediently on the web for you, but I did find another painting
in the same style:
