I certainly am interested, and would like to know why you call it "New"
realism. To begin with, how is this particular contemporary realism different
from the pre-20th century Western tradition? Are you referring to the
"realism" of Pop Art, Chuck Close, the Neo-Neo-Classicists, illustrators, or
something else entirely?
