I have! Your right Archer Stevens IS awesome. Though I haven't see
the painting you are talking about. He is kinda still Underground...
not many people know who he is yet. He is going to be the next big
thing, though ;) I heard that the front man from Radiohead, Thom
Yorke, actually has bought a few of his paintings too. He doesn't have
a lot of stuff available, but about 30 some paintings for sale. I
heard though that he is going to be selling some stuff on ebay soon.
You may wanna watch out for that. I would suggest buying now before
the prices get extrodinaryly high, more and more people are buying his
stuff all the time.

I love his work! He is a damn genius! His paintings are beautiful. I
actually own one that I bought for $45 dollars. Not a bad price
actually. I found it while I was in Rome of all places, there was an
display there of some of his work. They actually had other works in
charcoal, ink, and his sketchbook. It was all just as wonderful as his
paintings. I also have to suggest picking up some of his stuff if you
get a chance. I heard the rumor that some of his stuff would be on
sale next week on ebay too. I'd keep my eyes open, though don't expect
it to be cheap.

And too dumb to know how to hack posts with panache. If he's got to sink
to the level of spamming newsgroups, you can imagine what his stuff is
like.

Ha!
I've never seen 2 responses to a post, 1 & 2 minutes after it hits
the newsgroup. This place is not that lively. Further the praise was much
too lavish.

Wow, its amazing, two different people posting from the same IP address on the
same subject, within 1 hour of each other. What are the odds on that? Since you
were both in the same computer at the same time, maybe you two should just sit
down together and chat about this amongst each other, rather than shilling for
some dopey unknown artist.

Note the identical IP addresses. A classic Sock Puppet performance by Mr.
Stevens to promote his own work.

What a surprise, yet another post by Mr. Stevens from the same IP address,
172.141.157.196. That makes 3 posts in about an hour from the same computer,
faked from different deja.com addresses. He's definitely no genius.

Well, Alison, there aren't many genii about, but it is kind of you to
help those who can't spot a fraud - I wonder why it matters to you so
much.
