KENNETH W. DAN, portrait painter?

I bought a beautiful portrait of a Malay women at
a flea mkt in Oakland CA, on 3/8/98. The frame
(that may or may not have been with the original
picture) was dated 1/80, title "From Love's
Enchanted Path". name Kenneth W. Dan. I tried
some search engines and directories, to no avail.
It looks like oil on paper but I'm afraid of
messing with it too much. Any ideas on who he
is or where I can find him? Thanks, Ron
