Can anyone name the painting by Claude Monet that includes an elephant trunk shaped formation? I am especially interested in the name of the town or village in which it was painted.

Hello, Christopher, I think the elephanttrunk shaped rock formations he painted are at Etretat on the Brittany coast. Lots of artists painted the rocks and sea there, but Monet's versions are probably the best known. All best George Young Young Fine Arts Online
