Someone suggesed her to use varnish to give a glossy finish on
canvas paintings... Any experiences... I am sure they are people
who must hate the word "varnish"... Their opinions are also
welcome!
My wife came to this country only last year and since then she
has been learning all the tricks to make paintings fast...
I would also like to find some pen pals (oil-pals!) for
her exchange notes! any volunteers..
Other question: where do you get the cheap but nice frames by
mail order... Places like Michaels and other hobby stores are
generally expensive...

If its CHEAP frames you're looking for check out FRAME FIT
they have an ad in the inside of the back (or front) cover
every month in The Artist's Magazine.
They don't have the extensive selection of GD LTD., but if its
CHEAP with quick response in turning out an order check em out.
