The masterfully done impressionist oil painting called “Flowers
(Magnolia)” is by the 20th century American painter, Frank Petronzio.
The painting features an abundant vase of flowers in vibrant colors,
with a backdrop of sailboats on the ocean, located on the North Shore of
Boston. The colors and technique are absolutely wonderful! The
painting measures 31 ½” X 17 ½”.
The painting is surrounded by a large, heavy, sturdy high quality
gallery frame, a perfect complement to the art work, that measures 35 ½”
X 22”. Both the painting and frame are in flawless condition. The
painting is signed on the lower right.
Frank Petronzio exhibited for many years at the Rockport (Mass.) Art
Association. A painting of his recently sold there for $1800, but I am
setting the minimum bid at only $400! This painting would make a joyful
addition to the art collection of the discriminating art lover.
