Hi, I'm trying to look into graduate schools for fine art, but I can't find any
centralized listing or directory of art schools. Does anyone know if such a
thing exists, and if not, any suggestions on how I might go about my search?
any help is appreciated, thanks a lot

A librarian will know everything. Yale is said to have a good art
praxis department. But going to a good academic school will not help
your art unless you really just want to teach.
There are books that rank university departments according to polls
taken by professors. Find the institution that has a fine art
department then try to find out if its specialty matches your aims.
then check the ranking.

Have you "googled" around on the web? Tons of
information there. You need to be specific.
"Studio Arts" - "Performing Arts" - "Music" - etc.
A full-service library will have the reference
books listing all colleges of art and their
program requirements.
