Keith Oconnor's web page is interesting in that it shows all the
characteristics of an average art student failure.

His drawing, on which most of the work hinges is the usual abomination
which perfectly represents the appallingly low level of knowledge by
someone who took courses called drawing in art school by teachers who
don't know a damned thing.

Especially amusing are his drawing of sample cubes and a leg which
exhibit not only a lack of knowledge but a total lack of talent.

His paintings even as small jpegs reveal an utter lack of imagination
and understanding of technique painted on top of the usual student
drawing errors.

He also exhibits his ignorance in a portrait which couldn't compete
with the worst street corner portraitist. I wonder if this guy ever
saw more than art school products.

Typical of the no- skill-realist who tries to achieve beauty with
results that show little more than monotonous ugliness, our genius
here feels forced into occasion abstraction. (tell us about it Fox) .
He can't even fake that.

Needless to say his paintings are accompanied by comments which I
suppose the artist imagines will excuse their obvious fifth rate
incompetence. I wonder if he is familiar with the miles of internet
crap which is as dull as his stuff.

There is no hope for this guy unless he comes from a rich family or
can finagle a job as an art instructor who will help bring up the next
generation of failures.

. Check it out at his web site-- ke...@tinmangallery.com

mdeli,
Please would you also do me the honour of giving me and my works this free
and unexpected publicity, just like you have for Keith and his works. I
don't mind if you criticise or compliment, or even ignore.
You've done him a favour, now how about giving other artists a plug too?

Couldn't get in either it loaded the text on your home page no images and then
performed an illegal operation, and shut down netscape.

Got in, it tried to set cookies, then automatically uploaded a plugin,
told me it couldn't play the wav. file. I hit the stop button, and it
shut down Netscape.

Don't go there.

Mr Koch like most here has no talent, ideas and certainly no skill.
Even if he gets a chance to AK the right people (perhaps Fox can set
up some introductions) I doubt that it would make much difference
because as bad as these works are the are not even bad enough to be
fashionable. (1950's art school)

His realism shows that he can't even do much with a bad photograph
while his painting of an eye shows that he can't do much of anything.
He then wisely gives up on realistic images and goes of into
kindergarten abstraction. I leave it to the viewer to judge these at
http://www.xlab.co.za Even the color is yuck.

O course each painting is accompanied by the usual comment which is
stated in the hope that the viewer forget the total absence of skill
and perhaps even look at the next horror.

I expect the artzy fartzies here to continue there politically correct
silence on the stuff I suspect even they really think is garbage lest
someone tell them how bad their own work actually is. That's a
syndrome left over from art school.

Glad to help you get ahead. I'm sure my words will add to your sales
potential. Don't forget to mention my name as I said these
enlightening words on your obvious genus first.

Thank you for your prompt response, sir. Much obliged.
Only one technical query: What do you mean by your bracketed reference to
'1950's art school'?
If you're referring to my scholarly past, I was only born in 1955 and did
not receive any art education until 1969, at 13 years old.

I attended art school in the late 50's and that sort of abstraction
was turned out by many of the students. In a phrase I mean to infer
that it is passe' stuff.

BTW I didn't mean to misspell your name in the title. Its was a typo.
I only goof on a name when someone starts first.
