Just an idea ... why not focus on women California Impressionist artists?
William Gerdts (Professor of Art History at the Graduate School of the City
University of New York, and a renowned authority on American
Impressionism)and Will South just co-authored the book "California
Impressionism." Last week in Beverly Hills, Christie's first California and
American art auction was a raging success ... racking up a total of $2.8
million -- about twice the presale estimate of $1.2 to $1.8 million. There is
a lot of interest in the subject right now.
Best of luck,
