Unfortunately, due to hurricane Floyd, the WetCanvas! GetAway '99
weekend was postponed until a later date. We apologize for the short
notice, and the inconvenience. We look forward to seeing everyone on
the new date (TBD)!

I'd like to politely beg to differ here. :-) WetCanvas! has never held,
does not currently hold, and never will hold sexist views.
You stated that there was not one woman listed in the previews, however,
the most recent weekly update clearly announced the virtual gallery
exhibit of a very talented artist named Carlyne Clements (a female
artist).
If you had taken the time to fully investigate the site, you would have
noticed that the WetCanvas! virtual gallery proudly hosts the works of
many noted female artists, including Ellen Fountain, Diana Lee, Anjali
Arora, Liisa Hayhurst, Heather Tait, and many others.
In fact, female artists represent almost half (46%) of all artists who
exhibit in the WetCanvas! virtual gallery. In addition, many of our
contributing editors are women (Sylvia White, Ellen Fountain, Diana Lee,
Marci Blattenberger, and others).
I encourage you, and others who may have read your misinformation, to
visit our site to see for yourself (http://www.wetcanvas.com).
