Dictionary of British Artists??? help! (Sophy Daniell)

We have a watercolour painting dating from 1914 by Mrs Sophy Daniell
(a.k.a. MRS S.L.DANIELL) (from Bristol).

Is there any information anywhere on her? I have looked for an online
version of the Dictionary of British Artists on the Web, but I
couldn't find it anywhere. I am not a collector so I don't have the
paper version.

If anyone has any pointers, it would be appreciated.

Perhaps you should try looking for a
"Directory" of artists rather than a
dictionary?

Have you tried your local library?
Or if there is a college or university
nearby you might try their library (libraries).
Some libraries have "online" search capability
"IF" the reference you are looking for is
published in CD form.
