Lurker here- I hope you all don't mind me barging in and demanding help.
:o)

I applied to get into the Wyandotte, MI street fair this summer and wonders
of
wonders, I got in. It's a pretty big street fair- second largest in MI.
here's a link for more info:
http://www.wyandotte.net/

The category I am permitted to sell in is photography, and they seem pretty
adamant about the artist only selling things in the category they have a
permit for. Does anyone know if art fairs typically enforce these types of
rules?

I have a lot of questions! I don't know how many prints to make (50 or
500?), and how many frames to buy... I'm not sure how to price them,
either, or what sort of stuff I would need for my display. I know you all
probably can't give me a definitive answer, but it would be nice to get an
idea.

Also, some info on where online I can buy matting and frames wholesale would
be absolutely wonderful!

Thanks for reading, and for any help!
Bethany

Yes we do with a passion!

I'm currently on one show committe in my area and have served on and
assisted with others. Once a person is juried into the show for photography
we do not allow them to sell jewelry pottery, paintings, etc..

The jury process is an attempt to maintain certain show standards and part
of being a pro is accepting these standards and goning beyond them.
