A challenge for those of you who teach, have been taught,
or are in the process of being taught art history. I am a
lawyer, practicing in a field that is (unfortunately) at a
great remove from the world of art and artists. I have
contemplated signing on for an art history degree at one of the
local universities, but have realized over time that my
schedule simply will not permit that course of action.

I haven't abandoned hope, though. I would very much
appreciate input from any and all professional and amateur
academics out there on what I should be reading (specific
titles and authors) in order to confer this art history degree
upon myself. If you can sketch out the courses you have taken
and the texts studied (as well as the ORDER in which these
volumes are best undertaken), I would be forever in your debt.

I would very much appreciate your reply via e-mail, if
possible. Thanks.
