Having sated our logorhetic lust in discussion of a new artist
movement, it is time to decide on the name and direction our new
movement should take. Our choices are
1. Expensivism.
The name conceived by Jiri Borsky. The aim of this movement could be
that its exponents will make their art highest price possible, or that
it will appear to be of the most expensive materials, or that only the
richest potential clients will be considered.
2. Neo-Cubism.
This art form has not been exhausted of its aesthetic and
philosophical potential and can be fruitfully revived. Cubism is
actually, to my mind, a sub-category of expressionism.
3. A new form of expressionism.
Abstract expressionism having been done to death by the American
ruling classes, and surrealism having been done to death by MTV videos
and everyone else, and classical realism having been permanently
occupied by cranky insufferable, dogmatic conservatives, one of the
few avenues left for a new movement is figurative expressionism.
Make your vote. Then members will decide among themselves the
technical and psychological parameters of the movement chosen.
