The top of the painting is very strong -
and I am inclined to think that
slightly stronger bits of red in the
lower left might give it enough strength
to counter the strong texture of the top
and set up the lower left as a dominant
position. It happens to be my particular
bias to see the lower left as the
dominant position and set up competing
tensions in other areas.
