-- which according to Google groups hasn't been noticed on
the Net appears in an advertisement in the March '03 _Art_
_In_America_. The text begins, "Our Creatcolor Aquamonolith
is the only 100% solid watercolor pencil in the world.
Encased in a think lacquer film, ... new freedom and control...
highlights and bold strokes.... shavings can be used as
pigment.... 72 brilliant and luminous colors...." etc. So
it seems to be a kind of water-soluble crayon.

At the bottom it says "SPECIAL Trial set of six
Aquamonoliths (assorted). A $12.00 value for only $6.95.
Send a check payable to: Savoir-Faire Dept. CCMAZ2,
40 Leveroni Ct. Novato, CA 94949. Offer expires 4/30/03 and
good while quantities last...."

If you send for the pencils, remind them that I sent you and
suggest that they pay me off appropriately.

Dandy Walker <ow...@hurts.daddy>:
| Nothing new about them, I've had a set of these for years, ordered from
| Jerrys Artarama. They are a bit waxier than, say, Derwent wc pencils,
| and of course they're interestingly heavy, but they're just fine to use.

So the advertising is, uh, fibbing?
