Is NCIS not an North American show? I do not see why not.

Ummm ... NCIS is an American show and has been around for years (it's
basically a navy-based version of CSI, although I don't know which series
came first).

CSI (in which Alex Kingston guest-starred, as a psychologist who helped the
team come to terms with Warrick's death) came first. But NCIS is funnier,
most of the time.

Yep, NCIS is the better show. CSI takes itself far too seriously, despite
the hopelessly inaccurate methods and massively over-abundant amount of
technology and equipment they use. CSI also hasn't been helped by the
extra spin-off series using "actors" who are getting worse with each
series - although it is difficult to find anyone worse than David "glasses
on, glasses off" Caruso.

I agree with you about CSI: Miami. I would be very surprised if someone
hadn't already invented a drinking game around it (one shot if Caine takes
off his sunglasses, one if he put them on, one if he put his hands on his
hips, one shot if a Hummer is seen going on the road, two if there's a
police car with it, three if they are joined by a chopper, and so on). But I
happen to like CSI: NY.
