More of an issue calling Vastra a "lizard". Which would like calling
Jenny a "monkey". "Man" can refer, in certain contexts, to either
the human race or an individual human.

The average Sontaran might well consider both Jenny and Vastra to be
"Terrestrial scum". Other aliens might also consider that the
similarities between humans and "silurians" (we've never found out
what these people call themselves) outweigh the differences.
Especially given that The Doctor was able to get a silurian
starship with, a genetic based lock, to accept humans as pilots.
