For those of you with a strong stomach, you might want to
venture over to the following website....
http://www.wcfcourier.com/index.html
or this one for the story associated with it..

Congratulations on the free publicity. Something to put in your resume folder.
The only scary thing was the shared interests: Dr. Who, MST 3K, Superman
comics, Star Trek, YEE-OWWW. I guess I'm a nerd, too. No, I don't have any
dolls, whew!

Of course the correct term is "action figure" not "doll".

Ah...

And I quote:

' "Dr. Who," a British series about the adventures of a bumbling alien as he
made his way around the universe.'

Well if *that* hasn't made a few converts, nothing will....

Hey, way cool! Nice story, Siobahn. Much better treatment of fans and
fandom than I've seen in a while.

They change the picture with each e-version of the paper.

The paper is notorious for mis-quoting people and not getting the
facts straight. One instance that I recall was how they described
our research telescope as being "1 inch" in size (16 inch diameter
actually). The other errors are too numerous to count. I only
buy the paper on Sunday to get the TV listings for the week - which
is actually pretty good, though they've screwed that up in the past.

I don't know why they even contacted me, it was completely out of
the blue.
